A photo depicts a fox alone in a landscape covered by night. Frozen in its tracks,
its head twists to address a hidden onlooker. The fox holds still for an instant, mesmerized
by the flash of a camera. I want to see this moment pitted against movement in real
time. Perhaps it could serve as a backdrop, one that returns the camera's gaze.
